RECITALS
Louisville Voice Lessons will be held twice a year and are for students that have taken two consecutive sessions (four months of lessons) before the recital. They are free for those active students and their personal guests.
Summer recitals are a big occasion for our high school seniors and we have long-time adults and seniors sing an extra solo with a big group number at the end!

Attire: Dressy (not formal). LVL has suggestions, but no requirements. It is suggested that all singers:
Shoes: dressy but comfortable. No super high heels or platform shoes because this can cause posture and breath problems.
Pants and skirts: No ripped or torn jeans or materials.
Tops:
Males: When in doubt, a collared shirt with short or long sleeves is always a good choice. Avoid sweats, t-shirts, sleeveless tops, and shorts.
Females/Other: Avoid strapless tops to circumvent problems with posture and breathing. Avoid t-shirts, shorts and sweats.
General: Wear something appropriate to your song choice, but don’t wear a costume. Wear something that is comfortable to you and that makes you feel good.
